Snurridge Manor offers luxury self-catering for up to 17 people in the Manor House. The property is set in 22 acres of North Devon countryside, being just 2 miles from the old market town of South Molton. This small town offers quality local produce and supplies with a pannier market every Thursday and Saturday. Barnstaple is the main town of North Devon which is easily reached along the North Devon link road, some 12 miles away. Further along this road you reach the ‘white town’ of Bideford on the River Torridge estuary.
North Devon is blessed with some superb Blue Flag sandy beaches. Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton beaches provide some of the best surfing beaches with wide expanses of clean sand. All these beaches have services in the local villages, proving a Mecca for surfers.
South Molton is the southern gateway to the Exmoor National Park which is easily accessed along the Combe Martin road. Exmoor is a hidden gem, perfect for walking, sightseeing and discovering untouched villages and open moorland. Its coastline is spectacular with some testing walks along the South West Coast Path, or less testing along its wooded valleys.
The Manor estate is easily found being close to the North Devon Link road, the A361 and the road to Combe Martin and Ilfracombe, the A399.
Coming by car:
Find your way on to the M5 and follow it to Junction 27. Turn off at Junction 27 and then follow the A361 towards Barnstaple for 23.9 miles to a roundabout at Aller Cross. Turn right on to the A399 and immediately you leave the roundabout turn right into Snurridge Manor’s drive. Follow the drive to reach the Manor’s wrought iron gates, pass through and park in the car park on the right. We will come and greet you.
Coming by train:
The nearest railway station is at Barnstaple, 12 miles away. Barnstaple Station is on the Tarka Line which is a pretty single track line from Exeter St David’s main line station. Click here for timetables.
You can also come to Tiverton Parkway station on the mainline which is 24 miles away.

From Bristol airport one needs to take the airport bus into Bristol to catch a train from Bristol Temple Mead to Exeter or Tiverton Parkway. From Exeter airport one needs to catch the bus to Exeter St David’s station and then take a train on the Tarka Line to Barnstaple.
